Material Handler
Our client, an industry leader in waste management and environmental services, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the Hazardous Waste Operations supporting the Waste Management Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Commerce City, CO
Pay Range: $28.00
Shift: Day
What's the Job?
- Handle hazardous waste materials, including working with drums in compliance with safety standards
- Assist with labeling drums and organizing waste materials according to regulations
- Support emergency spill response procedures to ensure safety and environmental protection
- Maintain accurate documentation and MSDS organization for waste management activities
- Follow DOT and RCRA regulations to ensure all operations meet legal standards
What's Needed?
- Experience working with hazardous waste, particularly drums, is preferred
- Familiarity with DOT and RCRA regulations
- Knowledge of MSDS purposes, organization, and waste management practices
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
