Details Work in a 26-bed hospital Operating Room department 1:1 patient ratios Uses Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot equipment Epic EMR used Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed weekly hours 1:4 weekend rotation with 12-hour shifts One overnight on-call shift required (11 PM-7 AM) for Trauma call Specialty team members (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho) follow call rules specific to their team Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed Requirements Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required BLS and other applicable AHA certifications required, with AHA certification completed prior to start if submitted as non-AHA equivalent Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma OR experience required CNOR certification preferred Preferred specialty experience includes General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, and Endovascular Epic EMR experience preferred Driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required Additional Information Provide surgical nursing care across a variety of OR specialties Teal scrubs are issued by the hospital Candidates must be flexible, accountable, timely, and strong team players Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit Local travelers residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract at the manager's discretion American Traveler Job ID P-737003.
