Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching certification is required
• Experience delivering specially designed instruction for middle school or early high school students preferred
• Strong abilities in IEP development, compliance, and case management
• Skilled in collaborating with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Understanding of data-driven instruction and effective student assessment strategies
• Genuine passion for supporting diverse learners and building inclusive classroom communities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Manage case files and provide IEP development, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, maintaining clear communication with team members and families
• Collaborate and consult with regular education teachers and related service providers to create cohesive support systems for students
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress, maintain records, and inform instructional decisions
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, growth, and independence for all students
