Endoscopy Anesthesia - Physician - Upper West Side - Manhattan, NY

Job Description Join our Anesthesiology team in this premier freestanding ambulatory endoscopy center associated with the Mount Sinai Health System. This role is exclusively focused on providing anesthesia for GI procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs in mostly ASA 1 and 2 patients. This position offers a rare opportunity for clinical excellence in an efficient and physician friendly ambulatory site staffed by one of the most prominent Anesthesiology Departments in the county. Predictable Schedule: Typical weekday hours (e.g., 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). Better Work-Life Balance: Strictly no nights, no weekends, and no call. Efficient Workflow: High-volume, streamlined environment with quick turnover and dedicated support staff. Focused Practice: Master a specialized scope of practice in a cohesive team of gastroenterologists and specialized nurses. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology Active state medical license and DEA registration At least 1 year of attending experience Competence and comfort with MAC and deep sedation as required without airway instrumentation Compensation and Benefits Full Benefits Include: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance, life and disability insurance Retirement: 403(b) and 457 plans available Annual CME allowance and paid time off for conferences Peace of Mind: Company-paid occurrence‑based malpractice insurance coverage Compensation range from 500K to 515K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits) Salary Disclosure Information Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
