Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled ICU RN to provide critical care to patients in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in telemetry, conscious sedation, and ventilator management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care to ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Utilize telemetry and ventilator equipment to support patient stability.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (CPSI).
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies, including airway management and sedation adjustments.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid WV or Compact RN license, with pending license accepted.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including telemetry and ventilator management.
• Maintain current BCLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate proficiency in conscious sedation procedures and telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to work weekdays and every other weekend, with flexible availability for starting ASAP.
• Meet travel compliance requirements, including minimum 100 miles from the facility.
