Job Description
At least 2 years of experience in Bigdata skills.
Strong expertise working in/understanding of big data technologies with a strong focus on the Hortonworks distribution framework.
Strong knowledge of Kafka, Flume, Sqoop, Hive, HBase, Pig, Map Reduce, Spark, Storm with hands-on experience – all or most of these.
Solid technology expertise in ETL and related technologies.
Hands-on experience in implementing ETL logic (SCD2 and SCD3 Dimension).
Experienced working on large volumes of data is required.
Qualifications
Strong Unix scripting skills.
Be very comfortable with Agile methodologies.
Expertise in SQL databases (e.g. MySQL or Oracle) and strong ability to write SQL queries.
At least 2 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
At least 1 year of experience in the software development life cycle.
Experience and understanding of production support and performance engineering.
