As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a crucial role in our emergency department, delivering high-quality medical services to patients in need. Responsibilities Assess and diagnose patients in an emergency setting Provide comprehensive treatment plans and follow-up care Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers Perform procedures as required in emergency medicine Document patient encounters accurately and timely Participate in quality improvement initiatives Maintain compliance with medical regulations and standards Communicate effectively with patients and their families Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license Experience in emergency medicine is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Strong organizational and time management abilities Commitment to patient-centered care Flexible Schedule: Day shifts No call requirement 204-bed hospital Paid travel & expenses Must be board-certified A-rated medical malpractice insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
