If you’re a motivatedchange-maker looking to build a lifelong career in dentistry – now is the time to take part in our journey. _ Must have prior dental assistant experience and be certified to take x-rays. _ OUR PRACTICE: Advanced Dentistry of Centre County 2014 Sandy Drive, State College, PA 16803 HIRING SCHEDULE: Monday: 7:30am - 4:30pm Tuesday: 9:00am - 6:00pm Wednesday: 7:30am - 4:30pm Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm Friday: OFF (potential to add 8:00am - 2:00pm, 1/month, for those looking for more hours) RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. Support the Dentist with various procedures. Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments. Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment. Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations. QUALIFICATIONS: Prior dental assisting experience required and certified to take x-rays. Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties. A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history. Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.
