Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients within a 12-bed Labor and Delivery unit at a 1:2 patient ratio
• Manage care of the newborn immediately following delivery
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean section procedures
• Support and assist with procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Utilize documentation systems CPN and Meditach for accurate and timely patient charting
• Fulfill scheduling requirements including 3 weekend shifts and 1 on-call shift per scheduling period; travelers float first per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• AWHONN Intermediate (not Advanced) or CEFM certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating and recovering cesarean section patients
• Familiarity with CPN and Meditach documentation platforms
• Strong commitment to shared decision-making and patient experience standards
