Senior Software Engineer, Connector Infra

Role Description
Deliver creative improvements for our Engineering teams. Utilize knowledge of computer science principles and engineering to build REST APIs that power core customer experiences. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of designs. Configure monitoring for backend services and build CICD pipelines utilizing prominent languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go or Scala. Develop integrations with our content management system. Build features and services with reliability in mind. Perform platform integrations using REST. Work with GIT and server technologies to design and develop applications that support Atlassian’s software products and platforms.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
- Experience with/in:
- Software systems and infrastructure.
- DB design and performance tuning for large scale database systems.
- Building and operating large scale cloud infrastructures.
- Performing platform integrations using REST.
- Utilizing GIT and server technologies including NPM, Docker, NGINX, and Express/Node.
- Utilizing SQL databases for customer service.
- Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, Go and Scala.
- 100% Telecommuting permitted.
