Food Service Worker
As Food Service Worker, WG-7408, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to:
- Set trays in tray assembly line. Sets-up cups, utensils, condiments, and hot and cold beverages on trays according to standard practice. Loads and pushes tray cart to designated area.
- Follows established procedures and standards on assisting the cook in cooking meals according to the menu and portion sizes.
- Practices good health responsibilities in the kitchen by using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitation practices.
- Maintains dish machine, sets-up, operates, breaks-down and cleans dish machine, pot washers, tray conveyors, refrigerators, freezers or other comparable equipment or appliances.
- Follows standard practices to rotate inventory promoting first-in/first-out issue. Moves covered and stored food for easy access. Stores food according to standard practice.
- Cleans work tables, facilities or bathrooms as scheduled or when assigned. As scheduled or assigned, cleans toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, etc. Adheres appropriate sanitation standards.
