Data Privacy Analyst

Role Overview

Help strengthen how next-generation AI systems handle sensitive information by reviewing transformed datasets for accurate privacy protection. This remote contract role focuses on identifying, validating, and documenting the redaction or anonymization of personally identifiable information, or PII.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct spot checks of transformed datasets to confirm PII has been properly redacted or anonymized.
• Perform detailed document reviews to ensure data privacy standards are applied consistently.
• Identify missed or improperly handled sensitive information and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Document and report discrepancies, findings, and observations using provided tools and templates.
• Apply privacy expertise to provide high-quality real-world input that helps train AI systems.

Qualifications

• Strong background in contract review, quality assurance, eDiscovery, or compliance processes.
• In-depth knowledge of PII and data privacy regulations.
• Experience as a Paralegal, eDiscovery Specialist, Privacy Analyst, Information Governance Specialist, Compliance Manager, or Legal Document Review Lead is preferred.
• Experience with legal document review, litigation support, or managed legal services.
• Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive data in high-stakes environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical judgment, and accuracy under pressure.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $31 to $60 per hour.
