Family Medicine Faculty Opportunity - Near Pittsburgh, PA!! Job responsibilities Clinical practice including inpatient and outpatient - 80% 17‑20 patients per day in the office depending on med student involvement Rounding for the office average 6‑8 per day Starting in the office late on rounding weeks Teaching/administrative responsibilities - 20% including Teaching residents on the inpatient service when rounding for the office (shared or every 5th week with the other 4 faculty at the location) Having medical students in the office 3‑5 lectures per year Complete resident/student evaluations within 2 weeks of request After a period of 6‑12 months, rotating on the inpatient service 2‑4 weeks a year Night call (only for the residents – no direct patient calls) 2‑4 times a month Weekend call or rounding 8‑10 times a year (1/2 call and ½ rounding only) Benefits Health insurance with contribution Long term disability Life insurance linked to salary 4 weeks vacation 1 week CME with reimbursement for expenses up to $3000 12 sick days 4 Personal days Malpractice with a tail 7 paid holidays Located in Southwest Pennsylvania with multiple outpatient sites throughout the counties, Health System has 265 beds in addition to a 16‑bassinet nursery and an 8‑bed residential hospice.
