Job Title Physical Therapist Location Banner Elk, North Carolina Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional techniques
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of North Carolina or compact eligibility
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare guidelines in a SNF environment
- Opportunity to work in a scenic North Carolina mountain community on a defined 13-week contract with a clear start date
