Registered Nurse (RN) - Family Birth CenterAs a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. This position is responsible for serving as the primary Registered Nurse delivering care to patients who are admitted to the Family Birth Center. This patient population may include low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, as well as providing care to postpartum patients and well newborns.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Your sense of urgency and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment will not only support patient recovery but also fuel your own career advancement.Some of the duties of importance:Conducts Maternal-Fetal Assessment.Provides nursing support to the laboring patients, utilizing pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management.Provides stabilization and transition of the normal newborn at delivery.Circulates for Cesarean Sections.Cares for the post-surgical patient.Job RequirementsGraduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hireOne to two years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program orNew graduate with completion of senior practicum in L&D, Mother/Baby unit or nursery.Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire andCurrent American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
