Assignment Details
Facility type: Tertiary care, teaching hospital; Level 1 trauma
Average daily tray volume: 250
Daily census noted ~500

Requirements
- Years of experience required: 2
- Required certifications: BLS; CBSPD; IAHCSMM or HSPA
- Experience with sterilization procedures and monitoring (steam, IUSS)
- Proficient in the use/maintenance of washers, sterilizers, and AERs
- Skills in set/tray assembly and sterile wrapping
- Familiarity with high-level disinfection and endoscope/scope reprocessing
- Preferred experience supporting high-acuity service lines (ortho, neuro, cardiovascular)
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for up to 5 hours
- EMR: Epic

Compliance / Notes
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Local candidates: Not accepted within 75-mile radius
- Return to office/time off restriction: Max 7 days for offer
- Documents due: 2 Fridays before start date
- Pre-start modules: 10-15 hours total; complete Epic training module first
- Labs: Must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing
