Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead

Warehouse SupervisorHumano, a third-party warehouse provider, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their site in Piscataway, NJ. The supervisor will oversee warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm shift.Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support for smooth operations.Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate daily tasks and workflow.Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.Allocate resources effectively to meet productivity targets and customer demands.Train and onboard new team members, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.Address any issues or concerns raised by team members promptly.Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with other departments for order fulfillment.Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes continuously.Qualifications:Minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory role within the warehouse industry.Familiarity with overseeing employee production metrics and driving improvements.Experience in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment is a plus, or 1 year of warehouse experience.Strong leadership and communication skills.Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to enforce them.Ability to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and clamp trucks is desirable.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Additional certifications or training are beneficial.Benefits:Competitive pay of $25-$27 per hour (Depending on experience)Overtime opportunities and career growth within the company.Supportive team environment with a focus on employee well-being.Humano is an equal opportunity employer and conducts pre-employment background checks, drug screens, e-Verify, credit checks, and other verifications.
