Accountant II

We are actively recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team! In this position you will be performing commissions and daily treasury functions; conducting financial and analytical studies, preparing and assisting in preparation of reconciliations and journal entries. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, may work from home 1 day a week as needed and approved by manager. Essential Functions Calculate and process employee and partner commissions accurately and timely Collaborate with the sales and HR departments to ensure commission structures align with company policies and objectives. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to commission payments. Monitor daily cash flows and manage banking relationships to ensure sufficient liquidity. Execute daily cash positioning and forecasting activities. Conduct in-depth financial and analytical studies to support management decisions Develop, analyze and report on key financial metrics and trends. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and cost efficiencies. Prepare and assist in preparing monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Post journal entries related to commissions, treasury transactions, and other assigned areas. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and industry regulations. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documents and responding to inquiries Carry out additional responsibilities as required to support team objectives and company goals. Skills & Abilities Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required) Experience: 2+ years of experience in corporate accounting.
