RENAL DIETITIAN

Location and Compensation Morrison Healthcare at University of Virginia Medical Center Dialysis Center, Altavista, VA. Full‑time, Monday‑Friday. Salary range: $65,000 – $90,000 based on experience. Signing bonus: $7,000. Job Summary Renal Dietitian responsible for delivering individualized nutrition care to 80‑100 chronic kidney disease patients in an outpatient dialysis center. Works within a multidisciplinary team and supports research, quality improvement, and education initiatives. Responsibilities Provide individualized nutrition care plans for 80‑100 dialysis patients. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including physicians, nurses, and social workers. Educate patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals on renal nutrition and medication interactions. Support clinical research and quality‑improvement projects within the dialysis program. Mentor dietetic interns and contribute to team professional development and education. Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Minimum one year of clinical experience post‑registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for renal nutrition and chronic kidney disease management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
