Material Handler

Material HandlerUnder general supervision, work as part of the production control team operating a forklift to receive and move raw materials and parts throughout the plant as required by production.Primary DutiesReceive and move raw materials and parts to prescribed departments and locations in a timely mannerLoad finished goods onto trucks for out-going shipmentsSupply production lines with necessary materials when requiredMove miscellaneous scrap materials out of production areas to warehouse or yardLabel and identify product correctly and move inventory via BES softwareKeep work areas clean and orderlyStrictly adhere to all plant safety rulesTake active part in group meetings to maintain safety, quality, and increase productivity and morale.Performs other tasks as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious industrial or manufacturing experience preferredPrefer 2+ years of experience in operating a fork lift, preferably in a manufacturing environmentExcellent verbal communication skillsWho We Are: Clarios is the force behind the world's most recognizable car battery brands, powering vehicles from leading automakers like Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Honda, and Nissan.
