Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Corpus Christi, Texas. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the surgical environment, supporting a variety of procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, and bariatrics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
• Schedule: Evenings shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 0 years of experience, and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, BSN degree, CNOR certification.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit type: Operating Room with 11 ORs and 1 endoscopy suite.
  • Staff includes 1 charge nurse, 11 registered nurses, and 11 technical staff per shift.
  • Equipment includes multiple types of orthopedic beds and four robots.
  • EMR system: MEDITECH.
  • Patient ratios: 1:1 for surgical patients.
  • Dress code: Scrub color attire provided.
  • No floating required; policies and guidelines are available.
