One Step Forward is hiring an ABA Therapist to provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in Parsippany, East Hanover, Cedar Knolls, and surrounding Morris County communities. This role offers the opportunity to help children build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while working alongside an experienced clinical team dedicated to meaningful progress and positive outcomes. What You'll Be Doing Provide direct one on one ABA therapy sessions with children Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA Teach communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs Utilize evidence based ABA strategies including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and behavior intervention techniques Collect accurate session data and complete detailed session notes Collaborate with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress and treatment goals Support the generalization of skills across settings and routines Why This Role Stands Out Competitive pay of $22–$32 per hour based on experience Consistent after school opportunities Ongoing BCBA supervision and mentorship Structured ABA programs with clear clinical support Opportunity to continue building ABA and behavioral health experience Meaningful work that creates lasting change for children and families What We're Looking For Experience working with children preferred ABA, RBT, Behavior Technician, special education, childcare, behavioral health, or related experience is a plus Reliable transportation Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable, professional, and motivated Passion for helping children reach meaningful goals Ideal Backgrounds Include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Autism Services Special Education Behavioral Health Child Development Psychology Early Intervention Education About One Step Forward One Step Forward provides individualized ABA therapy services throughout New Jersey.
