Pride Health is seeking a Surgery Center RN for one of our clients in Houst, TX! (Contract)

Setting : Ambulatory Surgery Center (Ortho, ENT, and GYN)

 

Schedule : Mon-Fri 6:30-3:30pm

Contract : Month to Month contract

Pay Rate : $50-55 per hour

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• This role will involve working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting. Emphasis will be place on Ortho, ENT, and GYN
• Follows nursing process standards and conducts assessments, exams, and treatments.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation.
• Participates in preoperative calls and routine unit checks.
• Communicates effectively with patients and families.
• Performs duties as assigned by leadership.
• Coordinates and modifies care for complex patients.
• Reports near misses and supports performance improvement.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations and maintains a safe unit environment.
• Communicates delays and prioritizes patient-centered care.
• Advocates for patients and resolves clinical/ethical concerns.
• Educates patients on ASC policies to prevent misunderstandings.

Requirements and Qualifications

• RN license in TX
• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• 2+ years experience
• Experience in Ortho, ENT, and GYN
