The RoleAXS is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack to lead the design and development of our core ticketing platforms. This role is suited for an engineer who thrives in a complex enterprise environment and is comfortable working across diverse technologies and architectures. You will build and scale consumer-facing and B2B web applications, owning the web platform across front-end experiences, back-end services, APIs, and data integrations for high-demand, global use cases.As the technical lead, you will own systems end-to-end, combining hands-on development with architectural oversight and team leadership. You will drive technical direction, align engineering efforts with business goals, and guide a team in delivering scalable, high-quality web experiences.What you'll be doing:Own the web application platform end-to-end, with a focus on front-end architecture, performance, and user experienceLead the design and evolution of modern front-end systems and frameworks, alongside supporting back-end services and APIsDefine and drive platform standards for UI architecture, component design, accessibility, performance, and scalabilityDesign and deliver scalable consumer-facing and B2B web applications supporting high-demand, global use casesBalance hands-on development with planning, technical leadership, and team oversightAlign technical execution with business and product objectivesGuide technical direction, front-end best practices, and overall engineering standardsAct as the technical lead for a team of engineers, driving delivery and continuous improvementOptimize applications for performance, reliability, and responsiveness across devices and browsersCollaborate with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiencesWhat to bring:7+ years of software development experience, including technical leadershipStrong expertise in modern web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScriptDeep experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Next.js and modern front-end architecture patternsExperience building scalable, maintainable front-end platforms and design systemsProficiency in C# and .NET Core, with experience building APIs to support front-end applicationsStrong understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive designProven experience leading engineers, setting front-end standards, and driving technical directionStrong communication skills and ability to align with cross-functional stakeholdersBS in Computer Science or related fieldNice to HaveExperience with AWS and infrastructure as codeExperience building large-scale, high-performance transactional platformsStrong experience building Single Page ApplicationsExperience with open-source technologies such as Node.jsExperience building reusable UI components, design systems, and micro frontendsExperience developing mobile-first and responsive user interfacesAt AXS, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but can't "check every box" in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
