Therapy Tech

Job description POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking therapy technicians to work with our exceptional staff of PTs, OTs, and SLPs to provide services to children up to age 21 in a fun and educational atmosphere. Responsibilities and Duties Communicate effectively with parents and patients Provide safe, effective warm-ups under the direction of therapists Transition patients from waiting room to treatment areas Original thinker with fun, creative ideas to get children active and engaged Basic cleaning and laundry tasks Basic office tasks Qualifications and Skills Previous experience with personal training, athletic training, special needs or therapy is a plus MUST be friendly, compassionate, energetic, organized, self-driven, independent learner and team oriented. Experience working with children is a plus Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and organizational skills Good communications skills both verbal and written Job Demands Moderate physical demands may include, but not be limited: assistance with set up and break down of equipment, ability to transition on/off of floor to interact with children, demonstrate basic exercises, and spot children while performing activities in the gym.
