This full-time, contract role offers the chance to provide speech-language therapy services to kindergarten through 8th-grade students in a school setting. You'll have a four-day workweek, totaling 30 hours, and the flexibility to work from home two days each month to support your work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and print card required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly school-aged children, is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs across grades K-8
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to create a supportive environment for student success
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and IEP meetings, both on site and remotely when scheduled
