Sprinkler Service Technician (Phoenix, AZ)

Job Summary SIGN ON BONUS OR RELOCATION AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES. Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Technician to perform repair and maintenance on commercial sprinkler systems. Responsibilities Receive service calls and document equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representatives to assess problem areas. Perform repairs on sprinkler systems – wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge, and fire pumps. Follow troubleshooting procedures, using technical manuals, change notices, bulletins, and other reference documents. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals. Maintain high level of customer service, organization, and positive attitude. Work independently and maintain truck inventory for timely response. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of documented experience in fire sprinkler service and repair. Valid certifications/licenses required by national, state, and local codes. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Physical capability to lift and move up to 70 lbs., and work in difficult positions up to 60 feet. Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety requirements. Preferred: NICET Level II certification. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $27–$35, commensurate with experience. Position includes a competitive benefits package.
