He/she has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly on vigil for maintenance of the sterile field. **Position Responsibilities:** • Scrubs for, prepares, sets-up and assists during any surgical procedure and provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary. • Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures. • Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures. **Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:** One year OR Training or Experience. **Required Education:** High school graduate or equivalent.Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program. **Training/Certifications/Licensure:** BLS.
