Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview B&T USA is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including client billing, reconciliation, and various other transactional issues such as managing and updating customer information. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Prepare, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable. Create invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers. Create reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested. Analyze and processes accounts receivable in a timely manner. Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the CFO and/or other staff. Reconcile various accounts monthly, bringing any discrepancies to the attention of the Controller. Collaborate with the Controller to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis. Assist in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger. Copy, file, and retrieve materials for accounting department as needed. Communicate with managers and other departments about any changes of information. Understand and ensure compliance with all regulations concerning the department. Follow procedures and communicates regularly with Controller regarding problems or issues that impact ability to do job. File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports. Required Education/Experience BA degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred. Two or more years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role required. Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. Knowledge of FishBowl ERP software a plus. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Job Type FT – Hourly On-Site Monday to Friday. May be required to work extended hours when needed to meet workload. Pay Rate $25.00 – $28.75 per hour Benefits Company contributes 100% for employee HMO medical option.
