Ensures continuity of quality processes in the manufacture of MGC Diagnostics products. Assists in the training and orientation of new employees. Also supports manufacturing engineering in development and revising of test procedures, and of manufacturing procedures./ph3Organizational Relationships/h3pReports to: Production Manager/ph3Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions/h3ulliSupports team in manufacturing of sub-assembly, final assembly, and testing of all MGC products as requested./liliRequires repetitive motion to complete assemblies and ability to lift over 50 lbs./liliEnsures that GMP compliance is met at all stages of production./liliMonitors WIP to ensure:/liulliWork order shortages are minimized, confers status of same with Production Manager/liliWIP and stock inventories are accurate./liliWork is available for team members when needed./li/ulliPerforms manufacturing tasks including:/liulliReads schematics and written documents./liliUses test electronic test equipment./liliSoldering/liliCrimping/liliUsing sealants and thread lockers/liliFollowing ESD practices and standards/liliAbility to read a ruler or tape measure (standard and metric units)/liliTroubleshoots sub-assemblies as needed./liliAids in the writing and implementation of ECOs and deviations/liliAssists in the training and orientation of new employees./liliMaintains a clean and safe work area./liliAccept other responsibilities as assigned./liliComplete training as identified by standard operating procedures and procedural work instructions./liliRegular attendance is an essential job function./liliFollow all Company policies and procedures relating to confidential proprietary information (CPI) including, but not limited to, what is outlined in the Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreement./li/ul/ulh3Contacts/h3ulliEXTERNAL: None/liliINTERNAL: Inventory Control, Manufacturing Engineering, QA/RA, RD, Customer Service, Purchasing, Receiving / Inspection/li/ulh3Job Specifications/h3ulliTwo years of medical manufacturing experience in assembly./liliTwo-year electronic degree or equivalent./liliKnowledge of all MGC equipment and procedures preferred./liliCompany training as required for the position./liliApplicant must have proven performance to the following:/liulliBe willing to work overtime as directed by the Production Manager./liliHave excellent attendance record./liliAbility to work in a positive team environment./liliThe ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repetitively and consistently./liliAbility to effectively communicate in English. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal skills./liliStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills./li/ul/ulh3Working Conditions or Physical Requirements/h3ulliWill be required to regularly stand / sit for extended periods of time; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. Lift and / or move up to 50 pounds respectively, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms./liliThe environment is fast paced; time pressured and requires accuracy.
