Network Security Engineer

They need you, an experienced Network Security Engineer , to join the technical team located in Austin, Texas! Please note, this is a hybrid role, so you’ll need to live in the Austin, TX area to be eligible for consideration. What you get to do:

• Design network security strategy and create comprehensive cybersecurity architecture
• Develop, carry out, and monitor security performance as it pertains to network infrastructure and computer systems
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure hardware and software
• Create and implement a comprehensive company-wide infosec strategy
• Train staff on infosec system best practices

What you need to succeed:

• 5+ years of network engineering AND network security experience
• Several years of experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration
• Proven mastery of firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers
• Hybrid experience with both on-prem and cloud servers (customer-facing servers are in the data center, data warehousing is in the cloud; AWS and/or Azure exp preferred)
• Previous hands-on auditing experience (NIST, SOC, etc.)
