Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry and a background in orthopedics and bariatrics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care in a fast-paced environment and will be required to float to other units or hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vitals and provide ongoing assessments.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active South Carolina RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year of EPIC experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the specialty for first-time travelers.
• Previous charge nurse experience is a plus.
