Account Manager with Government Sales Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 24.00 to $ 30.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage & grow State and Federal Government, Landscape & Construction Distributor, Nursery, & Flexible Packaging accounts
• Build & maintain strong customer relationships to drive sales growth & retention
• Identify new business opportunities & expand existing accounts
• Prepare & respond to bids, contracts, and RFPs for government & commercial customers
• Collaborate with internal teams
• Conduct customer meetings, business reviews, & presentations
• Negotiate pricing & contract terms
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account plans, & CRM records

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business
• Marketing, Sales, Agriculture, Packaging, Construction Management, Public Admin, or related field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education & experience may be considered

Experience:

• 37 years of experience in account management, business development, sales, or related roles
• Experience working with government agencies, distributors, nursery operations, construction markets, or packaging customers preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong relationship-building & negotiation skills
• Knowledge of government procurement processes & contract management
• Understanding of landscape, construction, nursery, or packaging industries
• Microsoft Office
