Senior Contracts Manager (Hybrid)

We have an exciting hybrid opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join the Commercial Engines Contracts Management Organization team in East Hartford, Connecticut. This role is a hybrid position with regular onsite and offsite responsibilities, requiring occasional non-core hours and/or travel. What You Will Do: Draft, negotiate, interpret, and manage complex proposal and contract documents for Commercial Engines & Aftermarket Services sales offerings. Participate in campaign strategy development, drive sales proposal efforts, coordinate input from other organizations during the sales campaign process, and draft sales proposals that meet internal and external customer requirements. Be involved in customer negotiations, including travel to customer sites as needed. Develop and implement strategies, processes, procedures, and tools to achieve the Commercial Engines Contracts organization objectives. Drive compliance with department policies and procedures related to document preparation, approval, and communication of department and company business objectives. Task scheduling requires occasional non-core hours and/or travel. Qualifications – Must Haves Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of contract management or experience focused on contract drafting and negotiating; or an advanced degree (Master’s or JD) and 7+ years of contract management or similar experience. U.S. citizenship (required for access to certain restricted systems/tools). Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate. Strong document drafting and negotiation skills, management skills, and an understanding of aerospace business and legal issues. Familiarity with ACE/CORE process improvement tools. Good business judgment and project management skills to meet internal and external customer requirements. Technical/engineering expertise and skills beneficial but not required. Experience with international business. Salary Range $132,400 – $251,600 USD, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
