About the Role:
Join our nurturing team at Serendipity Day Care Center as an Infant/Toddler Teacher, where you will play a vital role in shaping the early development of our youngest learners. We are dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment that fosters growth and exploration.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implement engaging curriculum tailored for infants and toddlers.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress regularly.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's growth and activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team atmosphere.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age and older.
- Confidence in working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
- Knowledge of child development milestones and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification along with other required certifications.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
