Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our Mother Baby Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the health and well-being of mother and baby, including administering medications as needed.
• Provide education to new parents regarding infant care and maternal health.
• Coordinate care and support services for patients and their families.
• Perform various procedures such as newborn circumcisions.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Previous experience in Mother Baby care is mandatory.
• Experience caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery and STABLE certification preferred.
