As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and development of construction projects, with a particular focus on estimating for projects within commercial, life sciences, and healthcare construction. Strong Compensation Package Excellent Benefits Career Growth Job Details Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction in the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring all aspects are managed effectively. Conduct detailed construction cost estimates and analyses, including conceptual and detailed quantity take-offs. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists during the design development stage. Lead the development of the project schedule and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies. Manage the tender process, including the selection of contractors and the negotiation of contracts. Collaborate with the project team to develop the project budget and ensure cost control measures are in place. Participate in client presentations and meetings, providing expert advice and guidance on preconstruction matters. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the construction industry, including innovations in construction methods, materials, and technology. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on preconstruction planning and estimating . Proven experience working for a General Contractor on commercial, life sciences, and healthcare construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards, and regulations. Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Proficient in construction software and technology, including estimating and scheduling software. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
