Role Description This full-time, on-site Teller / Customer Service Representative role is based in Gonzales, LA. The person in this role will handle daily banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, and account inquiries, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to bank policies. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting clients, resolving routine questions or issues, and referring customers to appropriate banking professionals for more complex needs. The role also involves maintaining a balanced cash drawer, verifying identification and documentation, and safeguarding customer information. Additionally, the Teller / Customer Service Representative will support branch operations, promote bank products and services, and contribute to a positive, professional branch environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Customer Service and Customer Experience, with a focus on professionalism and empathy.
• Ability to provide effective Customer Support and contribute to high levels of Customer Satisfaction.
• Experience working in roles as Customer Service Representatives or in similar client-facing positions in a financial institution is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in cash handling, and basic math skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain banking products and processes.
• Comfort using banking systems, point-of-sale terminals, and standard office software;
  willingness to learn new technology.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate with team members, and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Prior banking, financial services, or retail cash-handling experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent;
  additional coursework or experience in business or finance is a plus.
