Summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., the makers of YellaWood Pressure-Treated Pine, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Essential Duties:

Move vehicles, fetch parts, handle inventory, and assist with, or perform under supervision, oil changes, lubrication, and tire repairs.

Assist with logging maintenance, repair records, and inventory use.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including cleaning tools, equipment, and floors.

Assist in dismantling, repairing, and assembling equipment, engines, and parts, including brake pads, hoses, belts, and batteries.

Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.

Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs and have good communication skills across all groups/departments.

Education and/or Experience:

Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy machinery, tools, and parts (often 20-100 lbs)

Basic understanding of tools, machinery, and automotive systems.

Punctuality, reliability, and a strong desire to learn new skills.
