Experienced Medical Office Professionals Wanted!

A.R. Mazzotta is hiring experienced Medical Receptionists / Medical Office Administrative Assistants for two direct-hire opportunities in the Colchester area.

Prior experience working in a medical office is required.  We are specifically looking for candidates who have previously handled responsibilities such as patient check-in/check-out, scheduling appointments, answering phones in a healthcare setting, verifying patient information, insurance-related tasks, medical records, referrals, or other front-office medical office duties.

The right candidate will already understand the pace and expectations of a medical office and be comfortable interacting professionally with patients, providers, and office staff.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer a busy multi-line phone system
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Check patients in and out
• Update and maintain accurate patient information
• Collect copays and assist with insurance-related information
• Work with electronic medical records and other office systems
• Handle administrative and clerical responsibilities in support of the medical office
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in a medical office is required.
• Qualified candidates may have worked as a:
• Medical Receptionist
• Medical Administrative Assistant
• Medical Office Assistant
• Patient Service Representative
• Patient Coordinator
• Healthcare Receptionist

You should also have strong communication and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, solid computer skills, and the ability to comfortably manage multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment.
