FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for several full and part time FLOOR TECHNICIANS positions. Location: Arizona State University - 6110 S. Sagewood, Mesa AZ 85212. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Schedule: Shifts vary. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs) Requirement: Janitorial and floor technician experience. Pay Range: $17.05 per hour. At SSC we truly believe that our people are our greatest asset. Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques requiredKnowledge and ability to follow safety procedures Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
