Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Data & Inventory Assistant to join our growing operations team on a temp to perm basis. This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management.

In this role, you will be hands-on in organizing our warehouse floor, mapping out product locations, and ensuring that our digital inventory systems match our physical stock. You will work closely with the warehouse supervisor to optimize storage layouts and maintain accurate data records.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Organization & Layout Planning:
• • Help design and implement efficient warehouse shelving, bin locations, and floor plans.
  • Physically organize products, sort inventory, and apply clear labeling to all shelves, and racks.
  • Assist in optimizing product placement to ensure high-turnover items are easily accessible.
• Data Capture & Entry:
• • Accurately input product details into spreadsheets.
  • Transfer and manage inventory data within our computer system.
  • Perform regular data audits to catch and correct discrepancies.
• Inventory Tracking & Support:
• • Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock-taking initiatives.
  • Report damaged items, missing tags, or inventory mismatches to the warehouse manager promptly.
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations and documentation areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant coursework or certifications in logistics/supply chain are a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• • Computer leterate.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in spread sheet.
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn warehouse management systems.
• Soft Skills:
• • Attention to detail and high level of data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Physical Requirements:
• • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs periodically as needed for warehouse organization.
