Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Stuart, Florida Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment) Pay Range: Up to $38/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call Hours: ~35 hours/week (based on school bell hours) Contract Length: 42 Weeks Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly, Local candidates only – travel stipend not available, Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available (please pick 1) Requirements 1-2 years of experience as an OT Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience in the school setting Valid Occupational Therapist license Be willing to obtain Florida licensure Why Choose American Medical Staffing? From IEP meetings to direct therapy or nursing care, your role will have a lasting impact on the well-being and development of students throughout the academic year. Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs. Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency. Conduct speech and language evaluations. Write and implement goals and objectives for IEP's. Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support. Work with children in variety of classroom settings and provide additional services depending on the needs of the student population.
