Turbomachinery Engineering Intern

We are currently looking for highly motivated engineering students to intern at a fast-paced, internationally growing organization with a start-up culture. In this role, you will participate in a wide range of consulting projects, including the design, analysis, and optimization of turbomachinery components. This training internship is for a 6-month period, full-time (40 hours per week), and paid. The trainee will be offered a permanent position based on performance evaluations made upon completion of the internship period. Why should you apply Hands-on experience in real consulting projects Free access to learning center AxStream Certification after completion of course Record of hiring interns for full-time positions Responsibilities: Support the global team on all steps of the turbomachinery design and analysis process Develop test cases and perform validation on aero-thermodynamic and mechanical studies using in-house software AxSTREAM and AxSTREAM System Simulation for design, analysis, and optimization of turbines, pumps, and compressors as well as cycles Write technical publications based on internal results and improve existing documents Attend onsite/online training classes to sharpen turbomachinery fundamental skills and improve the software Participate in conferences and trade shows and animate technical webinars Develop and deliver software demonstrations to prospects and current clients Required Qualifications: Master’s in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science Recent graduates with GPA> 3.3 and strong interest in compressors/pumps Strong theoretical background in turbomachinery principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer Ability to pay attention to detail and strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related science Experience with in-house software like AxSTREAM/AxSTREAM System Simulation #J-18808-Ljbffr SoftInWay Inc.
