Electronics Assembler (Depot)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the overhaul and repair of various C4ISR systems and equipment. Performs technical tasks to assist engineers with electronic systems. Supports efforts to plan, procure, fabricate, remove, install, and complete all mechanical and electrical work efforts. Performs equipment removal, cabling, connectorization, electrical equipment installation, equipment overhauls, fabricating and assembling electronics subassemblies, and calibration checks on electronic instruments. Experienced with using electronics hand tools, microscopes, soldering and de-soldering equipment. Experience in reading assembly instructions and drawings. Provides on-site installation support. Updates technical documentation. Continues to develop working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures, including safety procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
2 years recent C4ISR or other relevant experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation and deinstallation of electronic systems, equipment, components, antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides, and ducts, while using logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes.

Micro Miniature (2M) "C" school or IPC-A-610/620 certification.
IPC J-STD Soldering Training Certificate.

Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent is desired

This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS
Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2008.

REMARKS
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.

Compensation: $20.54 - $32 an hour.
Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
