A bit about us: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position in the construction industry, operating on the 1st shift. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our industrial equipment and systems. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your skills in mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and heavy equipment operation will be put to good use. Job Details Responsibilities Performing routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other heavy equipment. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Carrying out electrical troubleshooting to identify and fix electrical problems. Ensuring the optimal performance of industrial equipment and systems by conducting regular inspections and maintenance. Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns and performing immediate repairs to minimize downtime. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Collaborating with other team members and sharing knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of service is maintained. Assisting in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or a similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and working with heavy equipment. Proficiency in working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and conveyors. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the industrial setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment. A relevant certification or diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
