You will coordinate with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to restoring patients’ mental well-being in a detox center environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ emotional and social needs, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique social and emotional needs identified during assessments. Provide direct therapeutic interventions to patients, helping them navigate their recovery process while facilitating healthy coping strategies. Collaborate closely with the medical care team, contributing insights on psychosocial issues and community resources available to patients. Document progress and maintain accurate records of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and evaluations compliant with HIPAA regulations. Support caregivers by promoting responsive parenting skills, understanding family dynamics, and fostering positive interactions that enhance child-parent relationships. Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss treatment efficacy and patient progress. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population at our detox center, including adolescents and adults struggling with addiction, mental health disorders, and co-occurring conditions. This role demands sensitivity and cultural competency as you navigate the complexities of different backgrounds and life experiences, providing tailored support to address each individual’s unique journey to recovery. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field, with active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in social services, particularly within the mental health and psychiatric sectors. Current certification in the safe management of disruptive and assaultive behavior, demonstrating ability to handle crisis situations effectively. Strong understanding of cultural competence and skills to work with patients across all life stages, from children to the elderly. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues alike. Preferred Experience Experience working in detox centers or addiction treatment facilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with recovery programs and community resources specific to substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Previous involvement in research or professional development within the behavioral health field. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $105,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
