Legal Assistant in Atlanta, GA Position: Insurance Defense Legal Assistant Location: Atlanta, GA Company: The LawStaff Group Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with a background in defense litigation to fill the role of Insurance Defense Legal Assistant. In this position, you will provide essential support to our legal team, primarily focusing on insurance defense cases. Key Responsibilities: Legal Document Preparation: Draft routine and complex legal documents for attorney review, including motions, pleadings, and correspondence. Case Management: Assist in the organization, summarization, and maintenance of case materials and documents. Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, and other relevant parties. Calendar Management: Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, hearings, and deadlines. Research: Conduct legal research as required for cases. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in defense litigation is highly preferred. Skills: Strong organizational, typing, and interpersonal skills are essential.
