Req ID: 114109 Supported Practice: Fusion Dental Category: Dental Hygienist Location: 11107 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA 20190 Years of Experience: No Experience Required (open to experience or new grad) Salary: $47.45 – $62.00 per hour Schedule Monday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM Thursday: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM (alternating Fridays acceptable) Responsibilities Provide high‑quality preventive and periodontal care with a patient‑centered approach. Support the doctor through efficient preheats, iTero scans, charting, and communication to set the team up for success. Confidently see and treat new patients, ensuring a welcoming and thorough experience. Collaborate with multiple doctors and integrate smoothly into a well‑established hygiene team. Educate patients on oral health, treatment needs, and home‑care best practices. Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in compliance with practice and regulatory standards. Uphold sterilization and infection‑control protocols to ensure patient and team safety. Contribute positively to a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment with a strong focus on teamwork. Qualifications Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start). New graduates encouraged to apply! Experience with Dentrix and iTero preferred, but training available. Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and team members. Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple providers. A true team player with ability to adapt in a busy, dynamic practice. Current dental hygienist license. Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR Certification. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care. Ability to complete Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment.
