About the Role:

The Busser - Seasonal plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. This position focuses on supporting the waitstaff by promptly clearing and resetting tables, replenishing supplies, and assisting with general upkeep during busy seasonal periods. The busser helps create a welcoming environment by ensuring that the dining space is tidy, safe, and well-prepared for incoming guests. This role requires a proactive and energetic individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Ultimately, the busser contributes significantly to the overall guest satisfaction and smooth operation of the restaurant during peak seasons.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Basic communication skills to interact courteously with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety standards.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to prepare for new guests.
• Assist waitstaff by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or condiments, and responding to guest needs as appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
• Ensure that all dining supplies such as napkins, silverware, and glassware are stocked and readily available.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth service flow during high-volume periods.

The required skills such as effective communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating with waitstaff and responding to guest needs promptly.
